DK Sports is reporting that Mlodzinski will be in the rotation ad Harrington will not make the roster, per Shelton.

Bucs getting set to head into the regular season losing their last 5 games in ST scoring a combined 5 runs in those contests.
Harrington gives up 4 runs. Bednar gives up a run.
Bright spot was Eddy Yean, who was unscored upon in 6 outings this spring. Perhaps he starts the season at AAA. It would be great if he's found it and we see him in Pittsburgh. He's only 23, and was the other player with Wil Crowe in the Josh Bell trade.

I agree I hope this scoring drought doesn’t continue beginning on Thursday. They should have added more offensive help this offseason, but everyone on this Site knows that is a fact. I do agree with you, right now Yen appears to be a future bullpen piece. He could make the return in the Bell trade a little better.

The Pirates have reassigned Thomas Harrington, Carson Fulmer, Burch Smith and Tanner Rainey, and DJ Stewart to minor-league spring training.

I thought Fulmer was going to make the team TBH. But I also thought incorrectly about his contract status with the Pirates. I also didn't realize, this is his third time with the organization.

If DJ Stewart has been reassigned, does that mean both Bae and Suwinski have made the team? I assume Stewart's problem came with his cooling off with the bat and Endy making the team (and now playing first base as well as catching).

I think I read that Stewart can become a free agent if he wants if he doesn't want to go to the minors. Borucki had the same deal and it was up Friday, but chose to stay with the Bucs.

I thought Rainey might make the team.
If both Bae and Suwinski made the team; I would really prefer seeing Bae lead off and play LF. (At least when a RH is starting). I don’t think Pham provides enough upside both offensively and defensively) Bae can help manufacture runs with his speed. Give him at least a couple of months. The Pirates will have to do more stealing, bunting, and hit and running because they don’t have the 3 run HR power.

has the team said anything about Frazier's role? Sunday line up starter perhaps? I am concerned he is going to be on the field too often.
