Unfortunately for him, the MLB rule is the spread has to be 6 runs before bringing in a position player. The game was delayed 11 minutes to allow a pitcher proper warm up time.

Wasn't aware of that rule- thanks

Just finished watching Phillies send the Angels to their 11th loss in a row. Maddon Ball isn't working

Boston and Atlanta have won 7 in a row, Philadelphia has won 6 in a row.

the LA Angels have now lost 14 in a row, apparently things haven't changed with a new manager like they did in Philly.

In the NL Central, every team lost their last game at the very least, and all but the Reds are on multiple loss streaks, with Milwaukee on a 5 game losing streak to lead the way.

LaRussa intentionally walks Trea Turner with two outs, man on second.....with the count ALREADY 1-2! Looking for the lefty-lefty matchup.

Max Muncy follows with a 3 run HR.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!

Way to go GENIUS!!!!!!

Since the firing of Joe Giardi, the Phillies have won 7 straight. Much to my dismay :-[

It happens every year, and it runs in cycles. This year, it's the NL-Central.

Three of the four worst records in the league.

A fourth is in a long losing streak.

A team has to win the division, and, right now, the large market St. Louis Cardinals just need to let the others play.

They played a game of tic-tac-toe on the back of the mound
