Thanks, mouse. Weird this article didn't come up in my Google search. I just thought the Pirates are playing well that there would be some more talk, videos, pictures of Kang.

I'm guessing he's mostly getting back into physical shape for baseball, so mostly what he's doing are drills and maybe some game action but nothing sustained like he would get in a rehab assignment.

Per the Tribune (5/14):



Infielder Jung Ho Kang remains in Bradenton, going through simulated game settings.



“He's taking a ton of ground balls. The next step will be to get him in an extended spring training game,” Huntington said.



After that, Kang will enter a rehab assignment, “but we're still a ways away from that,” Huntington said.

I saw a tweet that Kang is starting to play games tomorrow in Bradenton Class A Advanced.

I guess Hurdle said he'll be at Indy after that.

So, what happens when the problem child from Korea comes back? Freese get dealt or waived? It is pointless to send Moran down to AAA.
