If the Cardinals lose today, there should be a protest that should be upheld for the umpiring crew botching a simple infield fly rule issue that should have ended the game

16 in a row, and sweep the Cubs in a 4 game set to end their home season at Wrigley,.

The only thing that could make me smile wider is if the Pirates had done it.

Now on to watch the Brewers clinch. I've been lucky to be able to watch the clinching of all the division winners so far.

Pop flies aren't just the Pirates problem. Anyone watching the Yankees-Red Sox game watched two teams take turns giving the game back and forth to each other by not catching simple fly balls.

Brutal to say the least, but they're both more than likely making the playoffs.

Cardinals win 17th straight

Big spending Padres lose and are now under 500 for the first

time this year. Some people say, "yeah they are in the same division as the Giants and Dodgers." My answer to them is they

are in the same division as the Diamondbacks and the Rockies

The Dodgers down 9-5 to the Padres last night, hit 4 HR's in the bottom of the 8th to win 11-9.
