There were definitely not 10,000 in the seats last night. More like 1,000?

A thousand was my guess as well. I've never seen so many empty seats.

I am probably being incredibly naive but the empty seats have to affect the Nuttings. Right?

Attendance is heavily affected by what happens in the offseason. That's when season tickets are bought.



So if they want to fix the empty seats problem, they HAVE to make some kind of a splash in the free agent market.

Or Nutting could reduce the budget because of the decline.

nope, attendance totals are for tickets sold only. The tickets the Bucs are giving to teachers won't count either.

I know it includes season tickets and I guess any ticket that is sold.

I ask because it doesn't look from TV that there were that many people in the stands. Empty seats everywhere. But my view is only limited and I'm no judge of crowds anyway.
