With just 41 ABs, Tsutsugo is now 6th on the team in HRs and needs just 2 more to move into 3rd place. Doesn't say much for the rest of the team.

After going 4 for 8 in his last 2 games Alford has now raised his BA to a season high .203. I wonder if he'll play today. Shelton usually likes to bench anyone who hits.

I'm surprised that he's only sixth.

Anybody who could hit them is hitting them somewhere else, retired, or dead.

And of course Alford is benched today. So predictable. I guess he "earned" a day off which, apparently, is the greatest gift Shelton feels he can give a player.
