Hayes 3b

Choi 1b

Andujar DH

Castro 2b

Suwinski RF

Catcher ?

Bae CF

This appears to be a good lineup. They may platoon in right field and first base , but we will see if they acquire anymore position players this offseason.

if Hayes bat comes around it will help a lot.

Cherington held a video conference call with the local media, and I was surprised he mentioned they may still be open to additional position players. I would guess they might look for a right handed bat, since they have several players who hit from the left side.

I wonder if any teams are not interested in Reynolds.

By the end of the year they could add H. Davis, Endy R., Nick Gonzales, Liover Pegeuro, possibly Gorski.

I'd like them to add Cutch as DH just because.

I could see them signing Cutch because his salary for the season would be around 5 million dollars. Due to his age his large salary years are behind him. I also think the Pirates may go with the current catchers they have on the roster.

Ryan Yarbrough was designated by the Rays tonight. He has had some success in the past, so possibly the Bucs may claim him. He appears to be similar to the signing of Tyler Anderson a couple years ago. A lefty pitcher in PNC Park, who possibly could get back on track.
