P2 also has an article on it.
have to say that I expect to join P2 by the time the season starts. Hadn't felt the need previously with MLTrade Rumors, this site, Rumbunter and Bucs Dugout. Bucs Dugout is now just a shell of what it used to be and provides little information anymore.

Just read that- they are expecting the players to counter with a few more games.

Owners want 50 dates, and the players want 50 doubleheaders. ;D

They can agree to play as many games as they would like, but I would like to see the deal include no revenue sharing for BOB.

Just read the most recent proposal( I think) by the players-70 game schedule with an additional 250 million for player salaries

The Owners and Players are at an impasse regarding the amount of games. Just agree to 65 games and get the players into camp. These negotiations have been very frustrating. It is really going to get ugly when the CBA expires after 2021.

According to this article, "MLB also would like to sell advertisements on team uniforms this season and next to accrue additional revenue." If true, it really would be beer league softball.

I hope Nutting can make a deal with Ex-Lax for uniform ads. Perfect for those games when the field is wet and they slide and soil their bottoms. ;D

As each day goes by, I beginning to think there will be no season this year. It appears the players are not going to get back to the owners until next week. This back and forth crap has gone on too long. I still enjoy baseball, especially Pirate baseball, but I am gradually losing patience with the way the Owners and Players are attempting to negotiate an agreement to play baseball without fans due to a pandemic.
