The Ump has really helped Arietta a number of times. That is frustrating

That was an encouraging start. He's going to take an L but finally he showed what the potential is. The change up was awesome.



I dreaded him starting today. But he showed a lot.

Hopefully the fifth inning was Glasnow's last. Even though he is down 6-2 I think this game is a confidence builder for him. He deserves another start or two. I think him throwing the change up has been his problem,but today he threw several good ones. Let's hope we look back on this game as a major step forward for Glasnow.

Well, this was much more encouraging than his start against the Reds. Six runs, but only about two of them earned, plus a lousy home plate ump. And this was against a good lineup.



I'm not a psychologist, but I do a lot of cuonseling work. I wonder if pitching on the road was a help for TG. He didn't have to put up with the boos. I'm not blaming the fans that were there on Monday, but psychologically speaking, when someone is struggling with confidence, the absolute last thing you want to do is remind them about it.

Marte bomb...really should have tied it 3-3 if not for the errors and tight strike zone...
