Then again, putting a starting pitcher on the base paths with the way so many starters are injured is also taking a risk.






At some point, our best option might be to forfeit games like yesterday. Take the L, and walk away with as many healthy bodies as you can.

If only there were years and years of more underpaid, mlb players having taken those bumps who we could use to measure the current lot?  We can only wish. Hamstrings, backs, and fingers just arent made of what they were back in the olden days of ...1990
