Marte hits a blooper and loafs to 1B. The ball bounces past the OFer so Marte decides to start hustling for 2B and is easily thrown out. Would have been safe at 2B easily but didn't feel like running hard until it was too late.

Marte will never be the player they have projected him to be. He has all the tools, but in most cases does not use them.

is it me or what.. Are Marte and Polonco trying for the fences each time they are at bat cause right behind them is Bell. why not just get a hit and Bell do his part.

Marte again turns the wrong way on yet another double. Marte needs to go. He's got so much more talent than he's using. It sures seems like he no longer cares.

Dude is an enigma to be. Has been for a while. He has so much talent/tools, but never has any consistency or does stupid stuff that leads you to believe he doesn't care.
