Dodgers first to reach 100 wins

Scherzer spectacular in his return off the IL last night with six perfect innings and nine strikeouts as the Mets clinch a playoff spot.  What a beast! 

Houston Astros become the second team to

win a 100 games with a 11-10 win over the Orioles

Game isn't over yet, but Seattle blows an 11-2 lead giving up 11 runs in one inning to lose the lead.

Cleveland three outs away from clinching. Talk about a team putting the hammer down........they beat down the Twins and the White Sox when those two teams still had a hope of they swept. Instead, Guardians take 4 of 5 from the Twins, then sweep the White Sox.



I'm pulling for the Guardians in the playoffs on the AL side.....man I hope they don't face the Mariners first round though, I'm pulling for them also

Toronto clinches a wild card on their off day with the Orioles losing today.



Philly is swept for the season by the Cubs, losing to them today to fall into a tie for the 3rd wild card, but the Phillies hold the tiebreaker.



So wild card positioning in the AL, as the Mariners and Rays are on the verge of clinching spots, Rays can if they win tonight, is all the battle in the AL.



The NL East and the last wild card in the NL are up for grabs.



I can only hope that in the next year or two, we'll see the Bucs in these kinds of posts.

The Angels avoid arbitration with Ohtani next year by agreeing to a one year, $30 million contract. Since he’s two great players in one, shouldn’t his agent be pushing for him to get $50-60 million?
