Whoa, Tampa signs a one year $25 million contract. I guess the Pirates won’t be using the Rays as the model anymore. What excuse will Nutting cook up now?

Watch Tampa dump Glasnow.

Aaron Judge hit Home Run #50 last night to keep ahead of
Roger Maris's pace. Does anyone know how many the
Pirates have hit as a team?

Thanks Bobster- except for that one spurt, it didn't seem they
had that many

They are 18th of 30 MLB teams in HRs so not far from the middle of the pack. But they are 29th in hits. They just don't get enough men on base for the HRs to produce more runs. As a result, they are 28th in runs.

Perusing mlb.com, I see that the Phillies traded for a Jays minor league pitcher and will be adding him to the major league roster. I thought trades after the Deadline were no longer permitted, or does that just apply to major league players?
The Other Games 2022
Just for major leaguers Doc. The pitcher in question was going to opt out of his minor league deal so they traded him beforehand.

I guess that is why no one has a big RBI total. That and the fact that Shelton continues to rest people
