As mentioned yesterday, it's now a four team race- Arizona( 12 losses in a row) Baltimore and Texas all lose while the bucs hurt their chances with a win

How exciting it is for us Pirates fans to be in a chase for last place. As other teams' fans dream of the championship trophy being paraded through their city, we root for "achieving" the first pick in the draft, all the while cringing that he doesn't turn into another Kris Benson or Bryan Bullington. We've really sunk to an awful depth here.

First place White Sox get swept in a four game series by the Astros. Should really be in a bad frame of mind when they come to Pittsburgh on Tues.

Here is the current standings for lowly four

1. Arizona (losers of 13 in a row) 20-53

2. Orioles 23-48

3. Rangers 25-46

4. Pirates 25-45

Arizona with a 3 game lead
