This isn’t about another game but, instead, about another player. Wander Franco of the Rays may have played his last game. It’s being reported that he’s had an inappropriate relationship with at least two minors in the Dominican. If this is true, the report indicates that he’ll basically be expelled from Major League Baseball and never be permitted to play again. If this is true, I could care less what he’s now lost for the rest of his life, I just hope his victims are going to be okay.

Wow, four innings! That’s got to be a record for a position player. Did I read somewhere that baseball is going to somehow change the way position players can be used in these mop-up roles?

The Brewers no hit the Yankees for 10 innings yesterday ( 9-10 ) and lost in the 11th.
