Looks like Pirates are going into self-destruct mode.

Let me get this straight just so I understand: it’s permitted to load the bases with no one out and then get a hit?

Brutal HP ump misses 3 consecutive strikes after 0-2 count and then batter gets 2-run double.

Reds had to be looking forward to this series.

I wrote a few days ago that the Reds would win 3 of 4. Now it'll probably be 3 of 3 ... or 2 of 3 at worst.

The Pirates are EVERY BIT as bad as the Reds.

Maybe worse.

The Pirates are about to represent 25% of the Reds total win total!

Could be 40% at the end of the day

Pirates have now scored 2 or fewer runs in 13 of 25 games (52%).

When is Hayes going to learn we have no one who can make a routine scoop of low throws at first?

Ump show big time today. It was almost unbearable to watch that prancing pony behind the plate. Another guy who will be protected by the union, graded at A+++ for his calls behind the plate.

I'd love to know how the heck he knew it was Knapp, and what could he have said to get ejected?
