Name me:

A: A list of all the teams that have fireworks

B: The last "geezer 70's" band to perform after a game at PNC. In fact, seeing it's one of the tiredess tropes about the Pirates there is, can you even name last time the Pirates had a post game concert prior to the "reopening 2.0" thing every team did last season? Seeing as that wasn't exactly on the promo schedule, it doesn't count as part of the trope.

Take your time. There's a lot of them in A.  It's been YEARS since the last one for B. I'll give you a hint: Cutch was still playing here.

Quit sounding like a typical yinzer
To save you time on B. it was the Neon Trees.....if you can successfully spin them into a geezer 70's band, you are our next president

"Should do the trick" means future. It would work. I didn't say anything about what worked in the past.

The Twins win last night when a catchable line drive goes off the right fielders glove, the ball is sent back to the infield, but the runner on second thought the runner on third was going to go, both were almost on third, the Tigers catcher throws it to third but instead sends it into the outfield, both runners score, Twins walk it off.

Very Piratey stuff

And of course the Pirates have a connection: it all starts with Robbie Grossman boots an average line drive.

What’s really funny is that the Twins base running is horrendous but they wind up getting two across because the Tigers are even more horrendous.

There is so much craziness going on at the same time it’s easy to miss the most beautiful part of The whole play: Two men on, down one - the batter Sano just needs to get on base.  He does thanks to Grossman.  But on the equally bad relay to home plate he decides to start running to 2nd even though there’s a man on 2nd.   The man on 2nd has to break to 3rd but the man on 3rd can’t advance home.   So runners start running back.  Ball goes from catcher into outfield and then Sano is again clueless about his responsibility - STAND ON 1st AND DON’T MOVE.  He’s advancing to 3rd at the same time the winning run is advancing home.  The ball comes into 3rd.  Just a couple seconds earlier and Sano could have been the 3rd out.

Great stuff!

Yikes!  Sadly, the pitcher is credited with a loss when it ought to go to his fielders.
