Just noticed that the Pirates have indicated that for Tuesdays game that the starting pitcher is tbd. Just a guess, but since the Indy Indians have been rained out yesterday and today, I wonder if Mike Burrows will be recalled to pitch on Tuesday. Since neither Chandler or Harrington are on the 40 man roster it is much easier to bring up Burrows, and send someone down to AAA. This would also give Keller the Home Opener Start on Friday.

If Burrows were to start on Tuesday just place Bednar on the IL in order to shut him down for a spell. In my opinion this would be an easy roster move.

Profar was one of the outfielders I had hoped the Pirates would have signed this offseason. Reading this I am glad the Pirates didn’t sign him. I am still not certain if Pham was the best option, but I will give him more time.Four games doesn’t make a season!
