I wasn't expecting to have a realistic chance to win this game. Wasn't even sure it would be close.



But now that we have a 3-run lead in the 7th, the Pirates have GOT to lock this thing down.



If you're going to light up Arrieta and knock him around for 6 runs, you have GOT to finish the deal and get the W.



Bell is VERY GOOD.



Polanco is quickly developing into an ELITE player.

Mets walk off the Marlins and the Cards win. So if the Pirates hang on here they will go 2 games up on both the Marlins and Mets and remain a 1/2 game behind the Cardinals.

Feliz blowing up. 1 hit away from blowing this game.

And NOBODY. Going in the pen.

WOW! No way I thought was going to end good. But Felix gets 3 huge SOs including Rizzo to end the inning.

The bullpen has been very good lately, but not tonight.

Compare Polanco's AB to McCutchen and Marte - Gregory has blown past the other 2 as the best player on this team. I predict Bell will become the 2nd best player soon enough.
