Nice to win this game seeing how frustrating it was. Taillon once again pitched great and the Bucs now have a chance to have a 4-2 road trip and come home 7 games over .500 through 15 games so far this season.

The Pirates have yet to lose back to back games so far this season. If they can go through some stretches where they go 10-15 Games without losing 2 games in a row they are gonna be a very very good team by the time we make it to June.

It hasn't been pretty, and it feels like we stole this one tonight, or lucked into it ... but who cares. It's a win and now the Bucs have a chance to win 2 of 3, make it a 4-2 road trip and go home 11-4. But man the bats need to wake up tomorrow and Nova needs to step up again.
