Pirates have 9 hits, 3 walks, but only three runs all on Stallings HR.



I guess if Shelton doesn't care if they win, why should they? Not saying things any different with Gamel in the lineup, but I guarantee you he catches that ball in left when Oliva stood there like a statue, and Oliva isn't in the lineup, Newman is hitting 8th, and the lineup has the hottest hitter on the team going.



But oh heck no, why have Hayes and Gamel in there together?>

It wasn't a nice defensive play, if Frazier goes on contact, he scores. If he holds after hesitating, Reynolds has an infield single.



That play really coming back to haunt also.
