I think the Orioles are not going to be happy with the number of pitches Bautista has thrown in the 8th, he's thrown 28 to get two outs.



They're taking him out now, one of the former player commentators didn't sound too happy that they let him throw that many pitches.

then again, us old timers remember when the starter would sometimes go 3 innings.

AL has only one pitcher left. NL has 4. My guess is Kimbrel gets the call for the save. Burnes and Senga are the other 2 NL pitchers, and they're starters, so I doubt they see a save situation

I always took pride in seeing the Pirate uniform among the All-Stars. But I guess nothing is as satisfying as generic uniforms.  ::)


It's all about money. Teams can sell a lot of AS jerseys and line their pockets. Money trumps tradition.
