Yankees drop 14 on the Red Sox last night. Yankees are now 63-28

No game scheduled today for the Dodgers and Angels. Strange for a Sunday but I guess they have to use the day to prepare for the All-Star game.

Mariners win their 14th straight. Frazier has upped his avg. to .237

At the break Yankees have AL 's best record 64-28

followed by Houston 59-32

NL- Dodgers 60-30 followed by the Mets 58-35

I just turned on the All Star Game pregame program. It looks like the players are wearing a special jersey. I hope they’re going to change out of them and into their team’s uniform. It’s one of the cool things about baseball’s All Star Game, and one of the reasons I watch.

I have very few positive things to say about the people running baseball.

Nope. Another unwanted change. I also don't need to see a child accompany each member of the starting lineup.

99% of the fans could register a complaint before the game ends and it won’t make a bit of difference. The players will be wearing something even more stupid next year.

Is there anyone in baseball classier than Paul Goldschmidt? When he hits a HR, he drops his bat, trots around the bases in a timely manner, never shows up the pitcher, crosses the plate without going through some contrived gyrations, shakes hands, and simply disappears into the dugout. He’s so easy to root for.
