Kang back?

You could also be concerned that Kang is too questionable and trade him for a relief pitcher. The assumption is that he will stay and someone else will go to make room, but that isn't necessarily so. I would be surprised if that happened, but still . . .

Kang will be up before the weekend: Jung Ho may actually create a buzz in this town. I don’t know about “baseball operations”, but Frank and the “business side” need a positive buzz.

Did Kang accrue service time while he was "gone" or does the clock start again when he is back on the roster?

Dickerson is on emergency family leave so I am guessing Kang will be up for him.

I don’t think he gained any service time while he was on the restricted list. He was not getting paid, so he would not get service time.

Quite frankly I thought you were projecting your hopes on Kang, and being overly optimistic about his ability to get back to being an impact player. I didn't see this coming, but you certainly did. Kudos to your prescient optimistic insight!! This offense will look a lot better with a legit cleanup hitter.
