Endy Rodriguez and Liover Peguero have started winter ball in the Dominican. There may be others whose names I didn't pick out:

Dariel Lopez is one - had a nice year at Greensboro as a 20-year old.

I see Richard Rodriguez and John Nogowski are playing too! Let's pray BC doesn't go back in time if he sees them down there!

I see Yoenis Cespedes is playing too....now there might be a shot in the dark, if he can play first and DH.

The stats show the ages of players.

On the pitching end, only 9 of the 100 pitchers listed were under 25 years of age. Not quite so 'geriatric' for the hitters as about a third of the of the position players were under 25.

In short, if you are looking to have a young hitter work on catching up to a fastball, the winter leagues may not be ideal. But, it may be a great spot to work on pitch recognition.

You’re exactly right. I’m planning to come back home to my wife in Pittsburgh.

If that were WWD2 and me, we'd take our wives with us to make sure we got in before the curfew! :D :D :D :D
