The Pirates won 10 of 12. Its kind of hard to say Hurdle is doing something wrong. They are winning.

I don't like all the resting, but I don't hate it as much as others. I think the back ups are decent now. No more Gosselin, Hanson, or Gift. Osuna and Jaso are hitting now too.

I like giving Mercer the day off and starting Max. It was a soft hit but still a hit. I don't know how the clubhouse responds to that but it may be a good clubhouse thing to do to reward him. Frazier defensively scares me a bit but Freeze does need rest so I am not going to complain about that. Cervelli has been hitting but a hot day after a night game also makes sense. I have no complaints on Hurdle's lineup today.

What are the Brewers doing?  They probably have some back ups in too.  Do they even have a back up catcher?

(Any free feeds on the internet to watch at work?)
They have all their regulars except Braun

Why are we not bunting up the first baseline? Dudes playing 45 feet from the bag.

What's up with Jameson? 7 Ks through 2 2/3 innings?

Vogt, Braun (not sure if he is still hurt), Broxton, and Thames are out. Vogt is on the DL. So, they are resting players too.

The Pirates scored because of Frazier and Stewart. Moroff worked a walk that inning too. Let's get our regulars hitting.
