I agree with what you're saying here. Rocker is better off with the Mets than attempting to save the Pirates from themselves.
My concern is that if the Pirates intentionally passed on any kid mainly because of finances, that it would tell me that very little is changing.
I get the impression that BOB and Boras have little regard for each other.
That said, since I don't know whether finances played a part in the selection , I have an open mind. We have a good kid of our own, and let's see how he grows.
