12 of them are in their arbitration years, 6 of them LMG's.
We are doing it the way they started. But they also went and got a Charlie Morton, Kenley Jansen, Matt Olson....you get the picture.
Compare us and them in about 2-3 years, when the arb guys starting hitting years 3 and 4, or what kind of extensions other than Hayes and Reynolds we see.
The difference between them (and the Dodgers too) is they identify who they think is a keeper, offer extensions, and supplement. That supplement part will never happen, not in stud fashion like trading for a Mookie Betts or Matt Olson. BC has to pretty much hit HR's on the whole draft thing.

Should have added to the other post, from 2015-2019, the Braves were 22, 27, 19, 21, 22 in spending.
They just opened the books the last three seasons, 13, 14, and now 9 this season.

You also love to bang on management over contract issues. Dansby Swanson two years in a row went to arbitration with the Braves, won this year, lost last year.
were the Braves disrespecting him? Got in his head? Any of that stuff seems to only be Pirates centric.
You ought to look into some stuff before you make "They didn't do it with LMG's" comments. Acuna Jr. signed the largest contract of a player with less than one year of service. The Pirates did something similar with Hayes, yet all yinzers can do is try to spin it that Hayes agent is stupid, Hayes didn't bet on himself, he signed a team friendly deal.
If the Pirates signed all those veterans you would love to see that they can't afford, I'm sure you'd find a spin to make them sound cheap/disrespectful.
Of course, as I've brought up before, all the yacking around here about the Reynolds situation sure shut the likes of you up, not a word about it when he was given an almost 2 million dollar raise.
Here it was I thought it was:
A. Record
B. Improvement
C. Development
but when the team shows all that then you immediately go back to:
D. Payroll
E. LMG's
Just like kovie. You could care less if they lost 92 games, just as long as they were 18th in payroll doing it

That changes things, so I will correct myself:
They didn't do it with LMGs.

Yes they did. End of story. 15 of them? No.
Go check for yourself.

In the Atlanta series where the Bucs were swept, the Braves played:
Michael Harris II (OF) and LMG
William Contreras (C, DH) and LMG
Spencer Strider (SP) and LMG
Kyle Wright (SP) and LMG
Jesus Cruz (RP) and LMG
Austin Riley 1st year ARB
Dansby Swanson went to arbitration hearing
Dylan Lee (RP) and LMG
Darren O'Day (RP) dumpster dive for 1M
Jackson Stephens (RP) and a LMG
A. J. Minter (RP) first year ARB guy
Atlanta, heavy at the top with the playmakers, but heavily supplemented by.....what do you call them guys?
Oh yeah. LMG's.
Your homework, now that you failed, is to do your homework in the future

Dansby Swanson makes $10 million.
If that's league minimum, BOB won't like it.

didn't say he was league minimum, he went to arbitration, which means the Braves wanted to pay him what? More or less.
When that happened, did you make any comments about it? Yes or no?
When Reynolds was going to arbitration, were you part of the "Bob is cheap, it's 675K difference" yes or no?
When Reynolds accepted a contract after supposedly being "dissed" by the Pirates that was almost 2 million more, did you make any comment to change your previous position, yes or no?
We all know the answers, so you don't have to answer.
You made the comment "No LMG" You were completely wrong, now you're trying to save face on Swanson, when I clearly included him because of the similarity to Reynolds. But it's the Braves, so it's okay to "diss" your players, right?
