Again, just a rumor. Yankees fans seem upset the Astros got Cole. I am not sure if Cashman will come out about the trade talks or not.
Makes sense seeing the return we got from Houston.

Neal tried to go to the place where the Yanks didn't want to see Cole go to, Houston, to up the Yanks deal. It didn't work. The fact that neither team offered two bonafide prospects was telling on the Cole front as far as what he is truly worth. I think another part of this is GMs think they can get the best of Neal too. Somewhat surprised we didn't see Washington get involved in this one.
