Sportsnet Pittsburgh sure knows what their audience tunes in to see. And we were even treated to a look at Filibuster Block and sleepy Kevin Young in the radio booth.
Your reports on the nightly goings-on in the broadcast booths makes me very happy that I’ve stopped listening to them.

Bucs go meekly in the second. They’ve struck out three times already. Did we all overestimate Triolo’s ability? He hasn’t been very good so far this season. No score after two.

Safe or not that was a spot on throw by Delay

He is out. And Reds lose their challenge.

Falter dancing in and out of trouble. Gives up two singles in the third but a caught stealing and another double play (the third) keeps the Reds scoreless.

Great throw by Delay and then a DP! I like Delay. Just makes the MLB roster by the skin of his teeth but is a very solid catcher and hits as well or better than Grandal and Davis.

Delay reminds me of Stallings, who was AAA depth but kept getting called up and sent down and even DFA’d until becoming the team’s #1 catcher and won a GG.

They remind me of Rick Dempsey, the Orioles catcher, who was not at all flashy and just hit barely well enough, but was quietly one of the best catchers in MLB. He even became a WS MVP.

Bucs get a McCutchen single and a Reynolds double with two outs but Joe strikes out. Bucs it’s six strikeouts through three innings. Still no score.

Falter with his first one, two, three inning of the night. No score halfway through four.
