Ridiculous the umpire throwing Hurdle out after about 2 seconds of making his case for the ball hitting Braun in fair territory which it clearly did. These umpires anymore are beyond horrible they truly are.

Obviously, it's Bad Locke tonight. He shows up far too frequently.

These are the kinds of things in the 2nd half of the season that you cannot keep putting up with when it comes to Jeff Locke. He isn't even going to get out of the 3rd inning tonight which is beyond terrible. You got guys like Kuhl who just pitched lights out in DC on Sunday, and Glasnow as well that should be in this rotation now over Locke.

listening to brown and walk early they sounded like locke is way better than the stats showed, except for a few really good starts he is not a very good pitcher

The Pirates don't need to pitch Jeff Locke for awhile now especially after this pathetic performance tonight. You got two off days next week on Monday and Thursday. So my rotation in the Phillies series this weekend is Cole, either Kuhl or Glasnow Saturday and Taillon on Sunday on normal rest. Then Tuesday you can go back to Liriano on normal rest, and then next Wednesday whoever doesn't pitch on Saturday between Kuhl and Glasnow should pitch in that game. Then in Milwaukee the following weekend you can go with Cole, Taillon, and Liriano. The bottom line is the Pirates don't need to pitch Locke for at least over 2 weeks of not longer.

Has to be the last time we see Locke start as a Pirate...no excuse to walk him out there (pun intended) when we have 3 guys at AAA that are better

4th inning and a lead off walk to the pitcher. A bunt single. Another walk. Bases loaded. 79 pitches.

This is just wasted!!

He should never have finished the 3rd. This is the kind of stuff that really gets under the skin. The Pirates MUST win a very high % of games the rest of this month and they just allow the game to be tossed down the drain.

They've got good options. Locke's service must be finished with the pirates.
