I don't think I've ever seen a pitcher give up so many hard hits in two innings and not give up a run. Jenkins is getting really lucky...

Looking at Marte's splits with runners on, in scoring position, and bases loaded I would say most of the blame falls on this hitting before him.

Terrible job once again by this Pirates offense only managing to get one stinkin run against a bad pitcher in Jenkins through 6 innings.

It would be a shame not to get a win here for Vogelsong. He is pitching pretty great here.

Solid start tonight by Vogelsong. I know it's the Braves but he probably got himself at least one more start next week with his performance tonight.

Let's be completely honest: Vogelsong gave the Pirates way more than anybody really had a right to expect -- except maybe Rich D who, to his credit, correctly predicted the best effort he's had in years.
