I agree. The problem was this guy was throwing strikes. We seemed to be sitting on something and never getting it.

On a happier note, where did the whole "Dickerson's defense is awful" idea come from? He's certainly serviceable out there, was that not always the case?

Since stringing hits together seems a long shot, we may have to win this with a long ball.

Wow, I didn't see that coming!  Dickerson with the badly executed bunt single for an RBI. I'll take it!

Hopefully Vazquez comes in and shuts this down facing the bottom of the Marlins order.

Good win. Good teams get sloppy wins like that. Taillon wasn't sharp but got it done. The bullpen pitched three scoreless and the pirates took advantage of miscues.
