I like to think of that as a call from Major League baseball saying you've been transferred to the Pittsburgh office.

I just don’t understand how Archer got here not even a day later and Kela has been messing around for 3-4 days now trying to arrive. I know he was on the road and further away then Archer but still the team you just got traded too is right in the middle of a playoff chase have your agent or somebody else figure out all the logistics and stuff that goes a long with that. So it was no big deal last night because they didn’t need him but I will say this much he better be in uniform and available and ready to pitch tomorrow. There will be no excuses for him what so ever to not be here tomorrow and ready to pitch especially with the off day today.

Seems like a non-story to me. Both players were traded on Tuesday 7/31. Archer was in Miami where he lives. He was able to pack up some things and get to Pittsburgh on Wednesday 8/1. Kela was in Arizona and had to go back to Texas first before going to Pittsburgh. So that put him a day behind Archer. They're off today so it doesn't matter. I would expect Kela to be with the team tomorrow.

On the radio they said something about "family issues back home that he wanted to take care of first." For I know he was trying to arrange for a baby sitter.

Yeah I was just pulling that out of the air. 



Maybe he couldn't remember if the turned the coffee pot off when he left.

I just think it’s a bad first impression is all. I don’t buy Huntington’s excuse about him not being able to take care of his issues back at home since he doesn’t have a wife and is a single guy. I won’t make too much of an issue of it anymore unless he isn’t here by tomorrow. I just didn’t think this was a real good look in his part especially seeing how fast Archer got here and handled himself. It makes Kela look lazy and almost like he doesn’t want to be here.

Doesn't want to be here!? Can that mean he is pissed off? Maybe he is. If he is I hope that means he goes to the mound with a "pitbull" attitude and takes it out on the other teams hitters.

Just saw that Kela has arrived and has spoken to Hurdle regarding his role in the bullpen.
