Tough break for the Pirates to lose Nova after just 4.1 IP. The way he was going he was probably going to get 6 or maybe 7 innings and lead with the lead.



Oh well ... the dream of ending the season with 16 straight wins is down the drain.

I think what was better than a win was Hurdle not getting the chance to send Vazquez out there tonight. He's been way over used in the past week and I'm happy to see him get at least 2 days off.

How can the Pirates find a Shaw and Aguliar ? These guys produce and cost nothing. :-/
