Makes this game tomorrow afternoon really important. You don’t wanna lose 3 out 4 to the Reds and fall 2 games under .500 the Pirates have to stop the bleeding here after these last two blowout losses.

if the Bucs lose by 8 their run differential will be -71 and the Reds will be plus 44 but we will still be 1.5 in front of the hated Red Legs.

If Jameson and Williams aren't able to return anytime soon and Archer continues to struggle, this season will be a disaster. I don't see this turning around anytime soon. There aren't any options left and this organization won't go out and find suitable one's - just cheap ones.

Looks like it, Pirates tweeted "Jordan Lyles was removed from tonight's game due to left hamstring discomfort."

Lyles was injured during the 4th inning but remained in the game to get 3 outs. He didn't come out for the 5th.
