Thank you for your question. You should calmly explain to those Mets fans that the last laugh will be on them. While their GM is concerning himself with winning games, Division titles, Pennants , and even World Series, our GM is seeing what he has and saving financial flexibility for when the time is right. Even though we are the only team in our division which has never won a Division title, we are building for a future with a long term sustainable championship club and that we already have players who will be on the roster when we are good. Explain to those Mets fans that while we may look like the same old Pirates, we need to give Cherington a chance to punt away a couple of seasons because he is better than Huntington.
