Frazier has all of 4 home runs.



Hayes-  5 home runs.  Scratch that.  4 home runs and a calliope tune.



Reynolds- 18 home runs.  So, maybe him, but third’s understandable, too.



Polanco RF- 10 home runs.



Nogowski- A homer.  A is one.



Gamel- 6 home runs.



Newman- 3 home runs



Perez- 6 home runs.



Crowe- His only homers are the ones he gives up.



Willie Stargell's dead, so he's unavailable for tonight's game.



So, until we get someone else who can jack the ball, Polanco’s our man.  ?

Don't forget, he is 11-11 in stolen bases

Speaking of don't forget. Don't forget that someone gave away 22 home runs (15....and, 7) so, we can't use either of those guys, either.



Conclusion I draw from this is that it looks like we need more time to see....what we have.

Polanco goes for the steal, and Nogowski hits it to the guy going to cover the bag, Polanco is safe, Nogo out, and making a fuss because he would have had a hit.



Hopefully he wasn't mad at Polanco, and just cursing his bad luck on the play

Polanco went for third but the ball was fouled off. He's on a tear lately

Gamel singles, Polanco scores, it's 3-1 Bucs!!

The subtle stuff about baseball you have to appreciate. On Gamel's single, Polanco knew he didn't have to bust it too hard, but looked and saw Gamel was taking a wide turn, and he turned on the jets to make sure he crossed the plate in case Gamel was caught trying to stretch it before he touched home.
