Good news, bad news: Oneil doubles with two outs and then gets caught trying to steal 3rd. I hope someone explains to him that he’s already in scoring position at second base and, with his speed and with two outs, he’d most likely score on a hit. Of course, that was likely explained to him when he was 11 or 12.

A leadoff walk goes for naught for the hated Brewers. I guess it’s getting to be time to remove Jones. He’s thrown 70 pitches afterall. The horror!

Jones pitches out of trouble in the 6th and is probably done for the night having giving up one run. He wasn’t as sharp as his last outing but it’s hard to imagine that he would be. But once again, he was really, really good.
