Phillies

RF N. Castellanos R
2B Edmundo Sosa R
C G. Stubbs L
LF C. Pache R
CF Johan Rojas R

Here we go. Shelty is nuts with his lineup as usual. If I were Gonales I would boo Shelty when he takes the lineup out the umps to begin the game.
I won't be around for the game because I have other family stuff today so you guys can lead the thread.

I cringe anytime I see Williams' name in the line-up. Only if one of the infielders gets violently ill prior to game time should he start.

This will be Williams' 5th start in 15 games. He is not the type of player who should be in the lineup 1 of every 3 games.

Can't wait for Peggy to come up and move Williams to the minors.

I’m not a fan of Williams but he has held his own both defensively and offensively through the first 15 games. However we all know that either Gonzales or Peguero are the short term future with Temarr taking over in 2026

Schwarber and Harper due up here in the 7th. Does Shelton bring Chapman in to face those two? EDIT: He does.

Schwarber moves up on a wild pitch, then Turner bounces to 3rd. Schwarber now on 3rd. One out. Harper up.

Harper walks on five pitchers. Chapman very wild, like last night. Didn’t get either of the lefties out.

Chapman is wild again. Just like last night.

His walks per 9 innings through 2020: 4.1.

2021: 6.1
2022: 6.9
2023: 5.6
2024: 5.4 (thru last night)
