Typical Shelty day game after and night game lineup. Why not let Cruz DH and get his lefty bat in the lineup?

Wow - Bednar needs to get things figured out pretty soon. Hard to watch him blow one save after another...
Bednar has been very bad. I wonder if he is trying to pitch while he is hurt. That is 3 blown saves this season.

My first thought also was that perhaps he’s still nursing his injury from Spring Training, but he was reaching speeds of 97 with his fastball. If he is hurt, he must really be gutting it out throwing at that velocity. If that’s the case, maybe they need to move him to the IL so he can heal. The season is still very young. Chapman will be a great replacement in the closer role for the next two weeks.
