Pitt played North Carolina tough but came up short 72-65. Pitt finishes 22-11.
Now we have to wait for tomorrow and the selection show

As expected the Panthers were hosed in the selection process. So many other teams who did not deserve the bid selection got in. I guess it's off to the NIT.

as the season went on, Started off 1-5 in the ACC and finished 12-10
They beat Duke at Duke. Beat Virginia at Virginia. Beat NC State twice
VIrginia got in which is a joke. The biggest joke of all was Michigan State getting
in at 19-14. However, the committees have been kissing Tom Izzo's behind for years.
AND- Pitt has declined an invitation to the NIT and more or less told the NIT where
to stick it

On what planet does the 4th place ACC team, with 12 conference wins and a 22-11 record NOT make the tournament...especially one that won 11 of their last 14 regular season games?

Pitt passed the eye test, IMO. Shame the committee was blind.
