Happiness is checking the scores in the morning and finding the Brewers have lost.

What a great feeling it is to see the Brewcrew lose a game, any game, especially a playoff game.

And best of all, Possum, they had a lead and blew it. https://youtu.be/VwCBYP9uJpM?si=ZLp7DVtYo-g53juw

It looks like Zac Gallen for the Dbacks and Freddy Peralta for the Brewers. I hope the Dbacks kick their butts.
It looks like Braxton Garrett for the Marlins and Aaron Nola for the Phillies. I'm rooting for the Marlins.

How bad was the attendance at Tampa Bay? Just learned from another site, that the Pirates average attendance this season was higher than the attendance for TB's playoff game.
That is absolutely astounding.

Holy cow there were only 19,704 at that playoff game yesterday. That is a shame. The media made a fuss during the Pirates playoff run in the 90s when 45,000 showed up in a stadium that held 50,000 plus. I cannot believe more fans didn’t attend that game yesterday.

Rangers win the series over Tampa outscoring the Rays 11-1
I didn't realize the positive effect that Austin Hedges would have
on the Rangers.

Just another reason why states that host spring training should not have MLB teams.fjk090852-7 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 04, 2023 6:30 pmHoly cow there were only 19,704 at that playoff game yesterday. I see the Rays went down hard today and their season, which started out so fast and successfully, ended with a thud. Just another example of what a long year 162 games is, and how it really matters when during a season a team is playing at its best. Then adding in the abhorrent and criminal behavior of Wander Franco that removed him from the team didn’t help. Not that any of us should care about a creep like him.
