not a starter in the 4th made sense
Walk is a very good analyst. The comedy bits with Brown are tiresome but he knows his stuff.

Great horny toads, things are coming apart. A walk, a triple, and an infield single have the Brewers up 3-0 with no one out in the 5th.

Jackson done for the night. He basically lost his control in the 4th and his troubles carried into the 5th. The runners at 1st and 2nd are his responsibility. Hatch in to pitch.

Why do so many Pirate pitchers have difficulty throwing strikes? They are 3rd in the NL in walks. And that was with the internationally famous pitch framer Hedges most of the season.

For me, that’s the most frustrating things about the Pirates. We all know the advantage of throwing strikes and working ahead in the count. I don’t know why the Pirates don’t seem to know that. It’s been that way for years.

Bucs like lambs to the slaughter in the 5th. I’m out.

Probably very few of you hung around for the ninth. I tuned in when
I saw it was 7-3 on a Joe 3 run blast. How embarrassing must it have
been for Suwinski when Vinny Capra was sent to pinch it for him. Capra was then
pinch hit for when the Brewers changed pitchers. Regardless, for Suwinski, that
has to be the ultimate insult
