Kranick avoids any damage, it's still 8-5 heading to the 8th, and it's looking a lot better now with Stratton and Bednar

It's embarrassing that we lost the first Tigers game on Wednesday and the first Reds game today.

With even the slightest level of competency, we sweep both.

Wednesday ... Lose 3-2 and allow all 3 unearned runs to score on a pair of misplayed routine grounders.

Today ... Bases loaded and 0 outs in the 8th, and of course our 3-4-5 hitters all strike out. Classic #pirates.

I mean those are just brutal losses, but this team is absolutely terrible

I continue to be fascinated by the fact that we are 26 games into the season and our starting rotation has ZERO wins.

We don't have any good starters. It's hard to envision even a total of 10 wins, since none of them are consistently good enough to pitch 5 consecutive innings without getting knocked out of the game.

If they only win 5 or 10 games all season, they will be making a strong case for worst starting rotation of all time.

The amount of times this team gets the first two guys on with no outs, then proceeds to not even so much as move the runners up, amazes me

I didn't see the top of the first, so just got around to watching the hilights.

Huge complaint last season on Yoshi's HR call by Greg Brown, "Tsut-Tsut-sudio!" It was very cringe worthy because it seemed such low hanging fruit, as I read a post either on this board or maybe Reddit where someone correctly predicted he would use it.

Today? "Yoshi Tsutsugo- No Jacket Required" Brownie, that was AWESOME.

For the wet behind the ears crowd, No Jacket Required was the Phil Collins album Sussudio appeared on.
