How the eff about that?

Good thing they didn't bench Palacios! lol

One pitch, two outs. That's what I'm talking about. If they lose, I'm sure that will be the hilight we see over and over and over and over.

That guy on second, Detroit fans are saying what Pirates fans were saying about Palacios not long ago. How do you get doubled off like that, unless they had a double steal going?

But the bigger question is, will the Pirates take advantage of this ?

Come on, he can get out of it

No reason for Underwelming to ever come in with runners on base.

We were lucky that Polacios made a diving catch to bale him out

Bae is approaching dipping below the .600 OPS level. Good thing he runs so well, he gets in the dugout after making an out really quick.

At least he is tied for 10th for most errors in MLB, only two behind Castro who is third. Not bad work for a guy who's pretty much a platoon player.

But yeah, I agree, he's so exciting when he gets on base. You just have to wait for it.

Had to step away for awhile and I see the status quo continues. It’s remarkable how the entire team can stop hitting at the same time for so long.

Underwhelming had allowed 5 of 6 inherited runners to score prior to that one pitch double play with two guys on.

When you consider his ERA is over 5 right now, that's a lot of guys scoring on a pitcher that is used in high leverage situations quite a bit.

And of course, the guy who whined last season about the lack of veterans on the team. I still don't like him, even if he's doing well tonight. I hope he doesn't allow another runner to score the rest of the season. I still won't like him

As well as Delay has hit this year, I would make him the starter and bat him 2nd until and unless he cools off. Move Reynolds, Santana and everyone else down 1 slot. Besides, it's embarrassing to have light hitters like Suwinski and Hayes batting 4th and 5th anyway.

OK. I modify.

The low side of "average."

That's what I get for allowing myself to get excited. :(

I wonder who is going to hit the meaningless solo HR tonight?

"Historic funk....unprecedented" says Brown.

There you are guys. We're not watching bad baseball. We're watching history take place right before our very eyes.

A meeting to see what they can do to change their luck? I knew it, they're just unlucky!

I'm not so sure Cabrera is a first ballot HOF'er Capps. Really depends on who is on the ballot with him.

I have a feeling some writers will say, "yeah, he's HOF....but hung on for a while just to get the 3,000 hits"

Underwhelming benefits from more good defense behind him
