Needed to get more then one in that inning when you get the bases loaded with nobody out. That was the Bucs chance to at least cut it to maybe 7-5 and give yourself a chance down two in the last few innings.

The Pirates have put the world on base in the last two innings and managed to get only one stinkin run out of it. Jaso has looked bad once again at the plate today. I really don't understand what it's going to take to get Bell up here to play 1st base. You still are only 2 games out of a playoff spot and just continue to blow chance after chance in this game.

Story of this season today for the Pirates. Everytime they really need to finish off a series or get a sweep or win that extra game they play a crap game like this today. The Pirates are now 8-9 in this 20 game stretch against teams .500 or below, and they just went a combined 3-6 against the Brewers,Braves and Reds the last 9 games. Not good enough and it's why this team doesn't deserve to make the playoffs and most likely won't when all is said and done.

Congrats Jordy! The Pirates can't keep blowing these opportunities to pick up ground in the standings. They are running out of games with each bad loss. That's what this was today a bad loss. Decisions like pitching a guy like Curtis Partch when the game is still within reach are what drive me nuts about Hurdle.

Almost have to sweep the Padres now these next 3 games which won't be easy to do.
