Damn! Sort of hoped Alford got hit there. Oh well 6 more outs!!

Regardless how bad a season is predicted an opening day win is always sweet.

Nice to see our offense visiting the bases today just wish they visited home plate more.

Not a fan of replacing dominating relievers after 1 inning. Eventually you can get to one who doesn't have it that day. The threat of Feliz is still out there.

I agree I would have left Bednar out for the bottom of the 8th. Don’t push your luck by changing pitchers every inning. Eventually the odds are one is not going to work out.

it seems foolish to me to empty the bench in the top of the 9th. Sure Perez can go into game in bottom of 9th if somebody gets injured but to have absolutely no one but pitchers if it goes to tenth seems risky to me. Maybe if there was a 4 or 5 run lead.
