Terrific win today, Keller being the focal point. Excellent start by the lad. Good home stand as well, winning two of the series. Big games coming up against the Cubs and Brewers this week. I’ll take a split and be happy, especially if a couple of those wins are over Milwaukee. I hate that team.

Mitch definitely stepped it up today in a big time way. This series win feels good after losing 2 of 3 to the A’s. Let’s take this show on the road now this week and find a way to win 2 out of 3 in both Chicago and Milwaukee. These games within the division are that much more important and critical to win so let’s hope they can do just that.

6-3 home stand is good. Stinks losing 2/3 to the A's, but that's baseball. Much more important to beat St. Louis (division opponent) and the Mets (could be in a Wild Card race with them). Remember, with no game 163, the first tie-breaker is head-to-head. Bucs have a 2-1 H2H lead against the Mets if it comes to that.

Losing 2 of 3 to the A’s doesn’t seem as bad now that the A’s just swept the Brewers in Milwaukee

Yes they did! just got done watching it. Had to sweat out the 9th.

A's had an 8-3 lead going into the bottom of the 9th. Brewers scored 3 and had the tying runs on base. Final 8-6

Bucs in First Place all by themselves

What a day! Thanks to getting called off last night, I was able to attend.

I had forgotten to look up how many guys had 2,000 hits. The put it up on the board. 291 have now done it. That's 291 out of 20,377 people who have played Major League baseball (as of June 10th).

That's an accomplishment not to be diminished.

Now, he needs a different number. A one. One World Series ring!

That's just the 20k who have played MLB ball.

Countless thousands didn't make it to the big leagues. That makes it all the more impressive.

There are only four other active players who have had 2,000 or more hits: Miggy, Joey Votto, Nelson Cruz, and Elvis Andrus.

Not bad company to be in at all.
