At least he was a rookie of the year good. Not like What's his name that tortured the Pirates, and only the Pirates. I think his entire career was because teams played the Pirates at least 3 times a year.

Even so, I loathe him.

That friggin India

Over the past couple of years, the Pirates would’ve lost a game like this. These guys are growing, improving. I’m far more excited by what’s transpired so far. It might all come apart, but it’s going to happen with mostly young players, not old guys with no future here.

How many quality starts did the Bucs have last year? It couldn't have been too many since the Bucs didnt' have very many 6 inning outings. This pitching streak has been impressive.

13-7 after 20 games is impressive. Don’t know how long this will continue but this team overall just doesn’t have the look about them that they will go away and not compete. I think this is very sustainable and the Pirates could contend well into the summer this year.

Good call. The starters are showing their capabilities, especially the young guys, Keller, Oviedo, and Contreras. That really excites me for the future, not just for this season. It’s been years since we can feel good about the guy taking the mound almost each night.
